Progress Camp, Shën Vasil

It was a camp where political prisoners who lived with ordinary ones engaged in agricultural
work. This camp was opened to exploit the labour of convicts in olive and citrus plantations. One
of the longest sentenced prisoners, Sami Dangëllia, passed away in this prison camp.
It was one of the last camps to be closed.
