In November 1953, the camp of Unit 305 is transferred to work in Levan, Fier. Official records are not clear on the camp’s composition. The main purpose of the camp’s labour was to open the Levan-Fier irrigation canal. The camp’s capacity reached 900 prisoners. They were guarded by 95 officers and non-commissioned officers. Abaz Krushova was the camp’s commander. Except the known Levan-Fier canal, Gjonçaj village’s irritagion canal was open (to change Vjosa River’s trajectory). In Levan, the camp’s number changed from 5 to 3. It was numbered 3 after this number was removed from Tirana’s brick factory’s internment camp.
